Somers Town Hall Truth

Somers, the safe town.  The Town Hall shut down the cider press, run for many years by high school students to raise money. Also shut down was the Labor Day Crafts Fair which was a fundraiser for another worthy cause.   Then the summer day camp was shut down, based on a non-existing risk management report.  If it weren't for many vocal residents, it still would be shut down.  And most recently, the Farmer's Market will not reopen next year due to unfriendly tactics by Town Hall.
Town Hall has been patting itself on the back for the solar electric projects about town. If you read the minutes from the Board of Finance meetings, it was disclosed that there really are no savings for the town.
Ask any town hall employee if things are better now that they were before.  It's time for change at Town Hall.
