Help a Local Woman Go to a Blacksmithing Workshop

Elizabeth Tylisz needs your help and is raising funds through GoFundMe.

Elizabeth Tylisz wants to go to a blacksmithing workshop and is raising money via the GoFundMe Web site.

According to the page on GoFundMe, this is by far the most bang for your buck. It is six days, from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. and they provide lodging with the cost of the class.

The page states, "There are many reasons why I want to do this. One reason is I want to help my friend who has been teaching me. It's not often I know more than him and I would love to share knowledge with him and broaden both of our skill sets. Another reason why is because I joined the Blacksmiths of New England and I want to represent women in this trade when they have their gatherings this summer. I want to be able to show them something great! And the final, most important reason for doing this is to finally be able to blend my artistic skills and my love of metal and fire together to create something that I can be proud of."

So far, $400 has been raised. To donate to the cause, visit the GoFundMe page.
