Fundraiser to be Held for Greater Hartford Walk Now for Autism Speaks

Patrick Fraro is a 4-year-old from Somers who wants everyone he knows to come together for a pizza party.

On May 18, everyone is invited to come out to the Connor’s Place pavilion in Somers for the 1st Annual Pat’s Pizza Party.

Patrick Fraro is a 4-year-old from Somers who is currently undergoing evaluations to characterize his developmental challenges. His mother, Erin, said that many of the professionals he works with believe he suffers from an Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Because of this, the family will be holding fundraisers to raise money for the Greater Hartford Walk Now for Autism Speaks at Rentschler Field on June 2.

“Patrick’s wish for a fundraiser for this walk was to have everyone he knows come together for a pizza party,” said Erin. “Help us raise money for the charity so important to our family right now.”

The party will take place from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and the cost is $8 per adult and $4 per child (12 and under). The price covers the cost of a pizza dinner, drinks, snacks, and dessert.

The pavilion has bathrooms available, as well a playground for the kids.  There will also be carnival games for the kids (for a small fee), raffles (including 50/50 raffles), and more. If you donate an item to add to the raffle table, you will receive two free raffle tickets.

For more information or to RSVP, contact Erin Fraro at 860-746-4316 or fraroerin@att.net. If you cannot attend, but would like to donate to the team, visit http://www.walknowforautismspeaks.org/greaterhartford/patrickfraro.
