The Greg Caron Poker Run is this Saturday June 30th. It will leave from TSI Harley-Davidson from 9:00 till 11:30. Motorcycles and cars are welcome. Participants will drive to 5 locations picking up cards to make a poker hand. Everyone will end up at Stafford Motor Speedway. At Stafford we will award prizes for the event. $150.00 for 1st, $100.00 for second and $75.00 for 3rd. Many more prizes will be awarded. There will also be food and entertainment.
Greg Caron is a Marine from Ellington who lost both legs below the knees to an IED in Afghanistan eight months ago. The Poker Run is a fund raiser for the Champions For Charities Race being held at Stafford Speedway on the same night June 30th. Ron Midford Jr., 2-time go-kart champion will be racing for Greg Caron and all the money raised between the Poker Run and donations made directly to staffordspeedway.com Carquest Champions for Charity race go to the Greg Caron Family Fund, to help in his recovery. Greg and his family will be present that day and evening.
