Somers Historical Museum Open

Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM
Featured will be World War One artifacts from Somers Residents.
Paul Martinello, a WWI researcher, will be at the museum to talk about the wool uniform that was worn at that time.
World War Two Uniforms from Somers Residents will also be on display in the museum.  Many of the wool uniforms and blankets were made from wool woven in the Somersville Mfg. Co. mill in Somersville. 
Other displays include Somers Indian Museum Diorama, Indian Arrow Heads, and Victorian Wedding Travel dress and coat. 
The next date the museum is open is December 7, 2013 for Somers Dickens Weekend.
Public is welcome.  Donations gratefully accepted.
