The Somers Public Library will show
the silent film classic “Safety Last” on Sunday, April 27 in the Blake
Community Room beginning at 1:00 p.m. The film stars Harold Lloyd as a lowly
department-store clerk who comes up with a wild publicity stunt to draw attention
to the store. An introduction and commentary will be presented by silent film
enthusiast Michael Gruber. Light refreshments will be provided.
