Old Tyme Fiddlers at the Ellington Farmers' Market

The Connecticut Bristol Old Tyme Fiddlers Club will be performing at the
Ellington Farmers' Market Blueberry Festival on Saturday July 20th from
9:30-11:30, Arbor Park, Main St.  The club's mission is to preserve
and promote the art of the old tyme fiddling that has been passed down
from generation to generation by ear.  The club enjoys 75 members whose age ranges from 12 to 92.  Along with fiddles, the club includes instruments such as mandolin, guitar, bass, banjo,
spoons, washtub, piano, button-box, harmonica, accordion, bones, jaw’s
harp and wood block percussion instruments.  Bring a lawn chair, enjoy a blueberry shortcake and relax while you listen to this enjoyable group.
