Walk a Mile for Micah! Come join the 6th Grade from the Mabelle B. Avery Middle School in Somers as they raise money for a local hero - SFC Combat Paramedic Micah Welintukonis of the 174th Infantry Brigade, and former volunteer EMT for Somers Fire Department. Micah was critically wounded in Afghanistan in July, where he was serving his third tour. He also served in Iraq for two tours. He is currently at Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland.
We will walk a mile on the track at the Somers High School and are asking for a $5 donation per person.
