November is National Novel Writing Month and the Somers Public Library will help you on your way to your first novel. Join our writing group once a week during November for support, technical help and ideas, or just visit for a quiet place to write. More information about the group is available at www.nanowrimo.org.

The program is free and open to adults and high school students. Join us for the kick-off on Sunday, October 28 at 2:30 p.m. A panel of 3 college writers will answer questions and distribute worksheets on how to get started. Call Cecelia Becker at 860-763-3501 to register or for more information. The Somers Library is located at 2 Vision Boulevard in Somers.
