How do I organize all these coupons?

Organizing coupons gets to be frustrating. Here are a couple different methods you could use. Also there are some great deals out this week! Who does not love to save money?!

Organizing coupons can be confusing.

There are a couple ways you can start to organize them. There is a file folder method, and also a binder method. This will depend on how in depth you want to be in using coupons.

You can start with the file method and move your way up to cutting each and every coupon. Cutting every coupon becomes time consuming but is well worth it when you see a great clearance area at the market! The file folder method is a great way to start, you can just file the three to four coupon inserts each week and refer back to them when you see a deal with those coupons.

At The Couponation (www.thecouponation.com), you can see photos and steps to organize your coupons. When we post deals, we will tell you where each and every coupon came from so you can get the deal as well.

For example, if we tell you that the coupon is in the 5/13 SmartSource you can grab those out of your file folder, cut that specific coupon out and take them to the store for a great deal!

Also, be sure to check out the great deals you can get this week. This week, you can get cheap to FREE cereal at ShopRite. Cheap razors at CVS, Walgreens, and Rite Aid! Also $0.49 baby wipes at ShopRite, what is better then that?

I hope that you can learn to use your coupons efficiently and save the most money possible in every shopping trip!

As always please let me know if you have any questions at all! Send me an e-mail at dealdetective@thecouponation.com! I am always here to help, I WANT EVERYONE TO START TO SAVE $$$!

Great column, Erin. Don't forget mobile coupons! I wish all stores would accept these. I just used one at Michael's the other day, where I always forget to bring the paper coupons you get at checkout. It was so easy!

I believe in the concept of charter schools. Saw some very good ones in inner cities that workedRead More very hard and made some progress. But I thinks for every charter school that opens a failing public school should close. Why perpetuate failure?

How long will we throw money at a problem that stems from the home and societal policies promotedRead More over the years? How many years and how much money is needed to fix the fact that so many children are growing up in households without fathers? If we give the schools all the money they want, will it fix the problem? I think not. It is not a school issue. It is a decaying society issue. I'm glad I'm old.

Penny, glad to see some (albeit few) smart people are working in Hartford for the people and notRead More just for their political careers! Since the large majority don't pay attention, it is important that we continue to educate people on what our representatives are doing in Hartford. Keep up the good work, and thanks for taking the time to write this article.
