Julia Desperately Needs a Home

Hi there everyone!  Just wanted to share with you a wonderful cat we have available for adoption.  Julia has been here at our shelter since September 26th.  She was brought in by a good samaritan who found her hit by a car on the side of the road.  Despite being hit by a car, her injuries were not that severe.  She did however have a broken leg.  Julia was transported to Ellington Center Animal Clinic for treatment.  She had a splint placed on her hind leg and a deep laceration treated on her other hind leg.  She has had two splint changes now and is in the home stretch on her road to recovery.

Julia is the type of cat that just loves everyone and can't get enough attention.  She is definitely your typical lap cat.  The second you touch her she instantly starts purring.  I promise you, if you come down to meet her you WILL fall in love.

Unfortunately, Julia is starting to show some signs of stress being cooped up in a kennel for so long, with minimal interaction and not to mention a barking impounded dog here and there.  She has a spot of thinning hair on her back, above her tail that she appears to be over grooming due to boredom.  We would love to get her into a new home as soon as possible.  She is due back to the vet in two weeks to have her splint removed and possible radiographs.  We will cover the cost of this vet visit at Ellington Center Animal Clinic, if she is adopted out before then.

Julia's adoption fee is $50.00 which includes a voucher from the State of CT which provides money towards her spay and two vaccines.  She has been felv/fiv tested negative.  If you are interested in meeting Julia and would like to come down to meet her and fill out an application, please call our office at (860) 870-3155.  Please share this with all your animal loving friends!
