The winners of the 2013 municipal election in Ellington will be sworn in during a ceremony on Dec. 2.
First Selectman Maurice Blanchette said the Ellington Board of Selectmen is holding its organizational meeting that day at Town Hall at 7:30 p.m. and the swearing-in ceremony will be happening around 7:15 p.m.
The event is for both incumbents and newly elected officials, Blanchette said.
He said the elected members will typically get their pictures taken during the event.
