Lynn Fahy, from the Ellington Historical Society says:

"This is an old photo of The Millstone on Sadds Mill Road. It is still there, just south of the intersection with Muddy Brook Road. It was built as the summer home of Dr. Everett J. McKnight, who was born in Ellington in 1855, and practiced in East Hartford."
