According to Images of America: Somers, from the Somers Historical Society says:
"The Fuller-Bugbee house, originally a tavern, stands on the southwest corner of the Route 83 and Route 190 intersection. The Masonic order met in the third-floor ballroom. The lower front rooms served as town offices before the construction of the present town hall. The building was razed in the early 1950s and replaced with a gasoline station."
