This past week marked the beginning of the high school spring sports season. Local athletes took to the mound, court and field ready for the competiton. Although the results were mixed, each brushed aside the nerves and gave it their best.
In addition to sports, other signs of spring started to poke through. The grass started to look a bit greener, the tractors were pulled out of the sheds and the sheep and lambs were seen out and about.
