Severe Weather Heading Our Way
Storms could impact the region, and state as a whole, throughout the afternoon and evening.
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Hartford, Tolland, and Windham counties until 9 p.m.
There was also a severe thunderstorm warning in effect until 2:45 p.m. for western Hartford County.
At 2:26 p.m., a storm capable of producing quarter size hail and damaging winds in excess of 60 miles per hour was making its way across the state.
