Red Rose Pizzeria Serving up the Best

For nearly 50 years, the Red Rose Pizzeria in Springfield, MA has won awards for its tremendous food.

For three generations, the Red Rose Pizzeria and Restaurant in Springfield has been providing fantastic food and wonderful hospitality to hungry customers from all over western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut.

In 1958, Nicola and Edda Caputo came from Italy in search of the American dream, and Edda's dream of operating a restaurant came true five years later. Over the years, the business grew from its humble beginning as a small 15-seat restaurant. In 1986, Nicola and Edda's children, Rita and Tony, took over operation of the restaurant, and continued the tradition their parents had established. Today, there are dozens of tables, a separate banquet room and a full bar with seating area.

Award-winning pizza has been the specialty at the Red Rose since its inception. They make their own dough in 200 pound batches at least four times a day, and have a huge selection of toppings, both traditional and gourmet. They also serve freshly made salads, sandwiches and Neapolitan dishes, all prepared using Caputo family recipes. There is something for everyone on the Red Rose menu, and the environment is very kid-friendly.
