Former Ellington Man Killed in Utah Snowboarding Accident
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that David Sitek, 26, died Wednesday at the Brighton Ski Resort in Utah.
David Sitek, a man with ties to Ellington, was killed in a snowboarding accident Wednesday at the Brighton Ski Resort in Utah, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.
The Unified Police Department in Utah confirmed that some of Sitek's family lives in Ellington. According to Sitek's Facebook page, he graduated from Ellington High School.
According to the Tribune, Sitek was found in a tree at the resort on Wednesday evening. Sitek was brought to a resort clinic, the Tribune reports, but medical personnel were not able to resuscitate him.
