According to Images of America: Somers, from the Somers Historical Society:
"The Somersville Hockey Club champions represented the Somersville Manufacturing Company in the Industrial League, playing to large crowds of loyal fans against the Bigelow-Sanford Mill and the Springfield teams. They practiced on local pond ice from November to March and were so good that opposing teams accused the Somersville Manugacturing Company of "packing the roster" with Canadians. The team included the following members: (left wing) N. Cormier, J.W. Rackis, F. Buvarsky, and R. Cormier; (right wing) E. Ramsey, C. Kareski, J.J. Rackis, and A. Mikulski; (left defense) R. Bourque and A. Grigitis; (right defense) W. Balsewicz and J. Butkus."
