Plant a Carrot... Build a Community

The "Carrot Campaign" brightens the Ellington landscape.

Despite the hold winter seems to have on Conneciticut, bright orange carrots with green heart tops are popping up in driveways and gardens all over town as the Ellington Farmers' Market prepares for its summer season.

The "Carrot Campaign" is a fundraiser to help the market expand advertising and offer special events, weekly themes and entertainment throughout the market season.

The market is expanding its offerings this year with a Kids Power of Produce Club to educate and eccourage healthy eating.
