is getting a makeover.

In addition to all the activities that are already offered, a 7,000 square foot arcade will open this summer.

“That is where the logo came from,” Locke said. “It is basically a caricature of him, and really represents the friendly, family fun atmosphere Sonny’s Place offers.”

In addition to mini golf, Sonny’s place offers a driving range, go karts, batting cages, a rock wall, and monkey motion. All of the activities are also lit for nighttime use.

“We are becoming much more than just a golf center,” Locke said.

Starting on Tuesday, Cruise Nights will be back at Sonny’s Place. They will take place every Tuesday from 5 p.m. until dark.

Sonny’s Place is also available for birthday parties and corporate outings so check out the Web site for more information.
