Fallon Rodriguez, is an owner and master stylist at Cutting Loose Salon, Fallon is an owner and senior stylist. They have always worked side by side in their careers and have a combined total of 15 years experience.

The sisters decided to open in Somers because they fell in love with the town, community of people, and the Somers Crossing Plaza.

“We feel that we can bring a fresh look to Somers,” said Fallon Rodriguez.

Cutting Loose Salon is a full service salon that Fallon Rodriguez said is committed to going above and beyond to deliver a luxury experience.

“Enhance your hue in our color cafe, watch your stylist formulate and couture you personal color right in front of you,” she said. “Experience the art of French hairdressing by one of our talented stylist in the designing area. Relax into serenity and be pampered while getting your shampoo or treatments in our lather lounge. We also offer specialty services such as thermal smoothing and straightening, extensions, and formal styling.”

Fallon Rodriguez said that the sisters were fortunate to immerse themselves with great opportunities since the beginning of their careers. She said that going beyond just a cosmetology license and being committed to continuing education has allowed them to become certified colorists by John Paul Mitchell Systems.

“We have trained multiple times in French hairdressing and Balayage by The Jamison Shaw Academy, working backstage at fashion shows, and being a part of Intercouiffure, the elite organization of top salons and stylists around the world,” she said.

According to Fallon Rodriguez, the sisters became interested in this field because stylists have the ability to touch people’s lives in many ways, while letting their creativity consistently flow as the styles change.

“It’s rewarding to be a part of an industry that allows you to have so much passion for your career,” she said.

She said that at Cutting Loose Salon, they are committed to inspire their guests and their community with an unparalleled dedication to exceed expectations, while providing an experience enhancing beauty, inside and out.

Fallon Rodriguez said that when they are not working, the sisters enjoy spending time with their family.

“We feel it’s important to live in the moment, take advantage of the time we have, and put forth positive energy in a healthy balanced lifestyle,” she said.
