Kloter Farms to Hold Holiday Open House

Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy what the business has to offer.

Starting on Thursday, Kloter Farms will be holding a holiday open house to thank the community.

The open house will run through Saturday and a reception with a light dinner will be held on Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be light food all day on Saturday.

“We just really want to express our gratitude to our customers, suppliers/vendors, and the community,” said Marketing Director Todd Root. “We’ve had a successful reopening this fall, and it’s a great way for us to show our appreciation.”

In addition, the business will be showcasing its new holiday décor. This décor will include designs for table centerpieces and place settings, tree ornaments, nativity scenes, indoor florals, housewarming gifts and more.

“We have acres of new decor on display, and it creates a festive shopping experience,” said Root.

Also during this event, customers will be able to get discounts on all custom ordered furniture for indoors and out, plus garden sheds, garages, barns and more.

Despite everything Kloter Farms has been through since the fire, Root says that in terms of sales, the business is doing fine –  a bit better for fine furniture –  and is holding its own with outdoor structures.

“We feel grateful that we are getting the orders that we have because it is a struggle in the marketplace for all retailers,” he said.

I believe in the concept of charter schools. Saw some very good ones in inner cities that workedRead More very hard and made some progress. But I thinks for every charter school that opens a failing public school should close. Why perpetuate failure?

How long will we throw money at a problem that stems from the home and societal policies promotedRead More over the years? How many years and how much money is needed to fix the fact that so many children are growing up in households without fathers? If we give the schools all the money they want, will it fix the problem? I think not. It is not a school issue. It is a decaying society issue. I'm glad I'm old.

Penny, glad to see some (albeit few) smart people are working in Hartford for the people and notRead More just for their political careers! Since the large majority don't pay attention, it is important that we continue to educate people on what our representatives are doing in Hartford. Keep up the good work, and thanks for taking the time to write this article.
