Kloter Farms Looking Toward Fall Reopening

Almost a year since the fire, the store is being rebuilt and will soon be open.

In December, the burnt out remains of were , and in March, the reconstruction began.

Vernon-based was chosen for the project and began right away. Now in its ninth week of construction, the new Kloter Farms building has come a long way.

While the outer structure looks pretty complete – and is even getting siding, there is a lot of work left to do on the inside. Because of this, Marketing Director Todd Root said that an opening day cannot be predicted.

However, Root said that the construction hasn’t hit any snags, and the weather has been good, so it looks like the grand reopening will take place in early fall.

“We’re keeping our fingers crossed,” he said.

June 29 is the one-year anniversary of the , and Root says that is a major milestone. He said that at that point – about six weeks from now – he is hoping to be able to announce a grand reopening date.
