The Ellington Farmers Market will host the CT. Dept. of Agriculture's innovative "My Plate My Market" program on September 10, 9-12:30, Arbor Park, Ellington. The USDA recently replaced the old Food Pyramid model with the new "My Plate" symbol. A registered dietitian will explain the new "My Plate" symbol guidelines in a personal hands on way. Answers to specific food questions will be available to help market patrons get the most out of their local foods and have the healthiest diet possible
