Storrs Center, Mansfield's new downtown, has some summer fun lined up for families this season.
Area residents will soon be able to gather for "Film Fridays" at UConn's von der Mehden Recital Hall and enjoy live entertainment every weekend during “Sunday Music at 2," according to a news release on Mansfield-Storrs Patch.
StoDoArts, together with the Mansfield Downtown Partnership, Leyland Alliance, UConn Summer Programs and the School of Fine Arts, welcomes families to discover Storrs Center through their new summer series.
"Music at 2" events begin this Sunday, June 9, at 2 p.m. near Geno's Grille.
"Film Fridays" begin Friday, June 21. Admission is $5 (cash only) per person.
