Opening Knight Players Present "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon"

The Opening Knight Players, Ellington High School’s , will present “The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon,” on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 7:30 pm in the Gordon C. Getchell Auditorium at . This will be the only U.S. performance of the OKP’s production of this zany comedy. The remainder of the performances will be presented on August 18-21 as part of the 2012 Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.

This play, which combines all 209 Brothers Grimm fairy tales into a wild, free-form comedy with lots of audience participation, will be an enjoyable experience for the entire family. Audiences will witness imaginative stagings of such classes as Snow White, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel to the more bizarre, obscure stories like The Devil's Grandmother and The Girl Without Hands. 

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.
