Who Should Be Added to the Ellington Wall of Honor?
Deadline for applications is July 1.
Every year the Town of Ellington adds new names to the prestigious Wall of Honor. Located in Arbor Park, just off the path, the Wall of Honor recognizes deserving citizens for exceptional contributions to the Town of Ellington.
If you know someone who has really given to the Ellington community, you can nominate them for the Wall. Either contact the First Selectman’s Office at 860-870-3100 for an application or download the application from the town website.
The submission deadline of July 1 is coming up fast.

If you submitted an application in the previous three years, it will also be included in the pool of current candidates.
The Board of Selectmen Policies Committee will review the applications and recommend a recipient to the Board of Selectmen at their July 21, 2014 meeting. The recipient’s name will be engraved on the Wall of Honor and unveiled at a public ceremony on September 6, 2014, prior to the Fire Department’s parade.
