Fox News Features Sgt. Greg Caron and Building Homes for Heroes

The Ellington resident's story of recovery and the organization's effort to build him a new mortgage-free home has made national news.

The new home built entirely by volunteers for Ellington resident Sgt. Greg Caron was featured this past week in a Fox News report.

The Hannity show did a six-minute feature story on Caron, his new home on Abbott Road and the dedication ceremony that happened in September.

The show's host, Sean Hannity, spoke highly of the New York-based Homes for Heroes nonprofit, which built Caron's mortgage-free home in 2013.

Caron, 27, a member of the U.S. Marine Corps, lost both of his legs in November 2011 after an improvised explosive device went off while he was serving in Afghanistan.
