New Ellington Wall of Honor Inductee Named
The late Homer R. Peckham will be recognized for his contributions to Ellington.
Homer R. Peckham was recently selected to be inducted to the Ellington Wall of Honor by the Board of Selectmen.
Peckham lived most of his life in town and made "many outstanding contributions to the Ellington community," according to a news release.
He also served on the Board of Tax Review and a number of civic organizations.
The public is invited to a formal induction ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 7, at 4 p.m. in Arbor Park.
