Happy birthday, Ellington-Somers Patch!

Since Dec. 9, 2010, the community has helped Ellington-Somers Patch evolve into the source for all things local.

From our news coverage, announcements, events calendar and places directory, to our Facebook and Twitter pages, and on to Local Voices, we've all helped to create an online community for the towns of Ellington and Somers, and we'll continue looking for the best ways to serve you.

While Patch hasn't been around for a long time, we've already shared many moments with the community including town government activity, weather chaos, local sports, breaking news and much, much more:
