According to Images of America: Ellington, from the Ellington Historical Society:

"Gordon and Mildred Arens Dimock pose for the photographer in their fashionable sleeveless jersey athletic tank suits in 1930. The Dimocks and many other young people also enjoyed the evening entertainment at the Sandy Beach Ballroom. Duke Ellington, Guy Lombardo, and Cab Calloway were some of the big name bands that attracted crowds. Mildred was named to the Ellington Wall of Honor in 2005."
