Connecticut Audubon Society to Present at Ellington Farmers' Market

The Center at Glastonbury will be presenting a program on feeding birds throughout the winter.

The Glastonbury Audubon Society at Glastonbury will be presenting a program at the Ellington Farmers' Market on feeding the birds throughout the winter.  

The program will begin at 10 a.m.

The mission statement of the Center at Glastonbury is to conserve Connecticut's environment through science-based education and advocacy focused on the state's bird population and their habitat.

The theme of the day for the market is "Be Kind to your Feathered Friends."  

In addition to the program, there will also be information and displays of various bird feed available locally.

Tom Sayers, from On the Wing Bird Photography, will also be there displaying his art.  

The Ellington Farmers' Market runs from 9 a.m. until noon every Saturday until Oct. 20.
