Corey Wry, a Manchester native with a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales University, is the owner/co-owner of three wildly popular eateries:  Pastrami on Wry, a sandwich shop; Corey’s Catsup & Mustard, a Main Street burger bar; and CW’s Chops ‘n’ Catch, a more upscale venue serving steakhouse classics and creatively-prepared seafood.

Before deciding to open Pastrami on Wry in 2005, Corey traveled the country for ten years, working at various hotels, restaurants and resorts.  On the heels of his first restaurant’s success, he co-launched Catsup & Mustard in 2008 and Chops ‘n’ Catch in 2011 with friends Jesse Russo, Brian Dowd, Rich Tyrol and Tyler Miller.

Corey is committed to using locally-produced and seasonal food from regional farms and fisheries as much as possible. “This not only ensures we serve the freshest food available,” he says, “but also helps boost the local economy.”

Corey’s eateries have received national attention, including a New York Times review of Chops ‘n’ Catch and a Catsup & Mustard feature on Guy Fieri’s Food Network show, “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVZ07BGbSjE).
