Dunkin' Donuts Announces Local “Ultimate Liverpool FC Fan Experience Sweepstakes” Winner in Ellington

Dunkin’ Donuts, America’s all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, announced Monday the winners of its “Ultimate Liverpool FC Fan Experience Sweepstakes,” including Ellington’s very own Karyn Maviano. The sweepstakes winners scored a VIP trip for two to Boston to see Liverpool Football Club’s (LFC) pre-season match against AS Roma at Fenway Park on July 23. Each winner will also receive free Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee for a year, fulfilled as $500 in Dunkin’ Donuts cards.

“Our ‘Ultimate Liverpool FC Fan Experience Sweepstakes’ was a fun way to generate excitement around our new partnership with the football club and to engage with both Dunkin’ and LFC fans across the country,” said Hartford market Field Marketing Manager, Molly Burt. “I’m thrilled that an Ellington resident was able to enjoy both the upcoming LFC pre-season match and also a year’s supply of free Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee.”

The sweepstakes ran from June 3 through July 13 and asked fans to submit their favorite seasonal Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee flavor, including Caramel, Mocha, Cookie Dough and Butter Pecan, for the chance to win. Fans could also earn five additional entries each day by submitting an “LFC Yourself” entry, where fans were asked to choose their favorite LFC player and Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee flavor, and then add their picture to create their own “face-in-the-hole” photo of themselves in a LFC soccer kit.

“When I heard about this sweepstakes I knew I had to enter since I’m a huge fan of both LFC and Dunkin’ Donuts,” said Karyn Maviano. “It was a fantastic experience to visit Fenway Park in Boston to cheer on my favorite team, and I’m excited to run on my favorite Dunkin’ Donuts Iced Coffee for free for the next year.”
