Rep. Christopher Davis Hosts Two Productive Town Hall Meetings

Recently, State Representative Christopher Davis (R-57) hosted two productive town hall meetings in Ellington and East Windsor where he spoke about new legislation and answered questions from dozens of attendees.

Among the topics discussed were the state budget deficit, the high cost of government and the need for reductions to state spending, the high taxes and mandates imposed on small businesses, and the controversial gun control legislation being proposed during this year's legislative session.

“I wish to thank all those who attended for their input and well-informed questions,” said Rep. Davis. “These meetings are important in two ways: They allow me to listen to the ideas and concerns of the taxpaying citizens in the 57th district. These meetings are also a great opportunity for me to keep the people of Ellington and East Windsor informed and up-to-date on everything that is happening at the State Capitol. For the past two years, I've made sure to hold these meetings on a regular basis, and I plan to continue this tradition. I encourage anyone who was not able to attend these last two meetings to contact me at my office for any questions or concerns on state related issues."

Anyone who was unable to attend the event but would like to speak with Rep. Davis can reach him any time by contacting 860-240-8700 or Christopher.Davis@housegop.ct.gov.
