The Ellington Democratic Town Committee by a unanimous vote at its meeting on 12/05/12 moved to support The Tax Exemption for Farm Buildings that will be one of the subjects of a Town Meeting on 12/10/12. The Democratic Town Committee feels it is important that the residents of the Town come out and show their commitment to farming in our community. Not only do farms make an important contribution to the character of our community, the support of farm business in Ellington makes good fiscal sense.
The Ellington Democratic Town Committee would like to urge everyone to come to the Town Meeting and support our farmers in town. TheTown Meeting is at the Ellington Town Hall, Monday, December 10, at 7:00pm.
