Somers Places Fifth at Doc Meyers Brawl
There was a lot of great competition at the tournament on Saturday.
The wrestling team placed fifth at the Doc Meyers Brawl on Saturday at Weaver High School.
There was great competition at this tournament.
Junior captain Kyle Foster (195) captured his third tournament championship this season. Sophomore Hunter Frasca (106), junior captain Nick Zachary (126), and junior Eric Trombly (145) all placed fourth. Senior Chris Mendez (220) placed third.

On Wednesday, the Somers (16-3) will travel to Enfield for its last NCCC dual meet. Then the Spartans will participate in the conference championships on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Suffield High School.
