Perhaps the town will NOW consider putting in sidewalks between the High School and Rt 83. Many people run, walk, bike, trike, jog etc by the High School to & fro both directions. Including the Ellington High School track & field team. As they make there way from Maple St east across Rt 83 & up the Cider Mill area.

This has been an issue for many years .
Do we actually need a hit and run death before we install a sidewalk?

John: Do you really think Ellingtonites want to drive 35MPH when they are on there way home? The average speed on that road is closer to 50MPH.
